I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life!

It was my senior year of high school and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. While all of my classmates were driving to school, I was walking. This is because I wanted to build a car, not just drive one. That is how much I love working with my hands and that is why I got an education in automotive technology. Soon, I landed a job at an automotive shop but after the monotony of endless oil changes and an overly demanding boss, I realized it was not for me so I quit. I was an entrepreneur at heart, and it was that calling which was waiting to be realized.

Following the departure from the job at the auto shop, my dad put me to work in construction. I worked for his business and within one year, I had already outpaced the seasoned workers who had been at my father’s side for over 20 years!

I soon became fascinated with shows like HGTV Fix and other home remodeling TV programs. Eager to delve deeper, I started learning about real estate and 

eventually purchased my first investment property. It was a small two bed, one bath and we were able to convert into a three-bedroom home. I ended up selling it for a $50,000 profit!

After a couple of years, “flipping” and “remodeling” became a full-time gig. I even held some rental properties and bought riverfront land to build townhouses.

joshs’ story

I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my life!

It was my senior year of high school and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. While all of my classmates were driving to school, I was walking. This is because I wanted to build a car, not just drive one. That is how much I love working with my hands and that is why I got an education in automotive technology. Soon, I landed a job at an automotive shop but after the monotony of endless oil changes and an overly demanding boss, I realized it was not for me so I quit. I was an entrepreneur at heart, and it was that calling which was waiting to be realized.

Following the departure from the job at the auto shop, my dad put me to work in construction. I worked for his business and within one year, I had already outpaced the seasoned workers who had been at my father’s side for over 20 years!

I soon became fascinated with shows like HGTV Fix and other home remodeling TV programs. Eager to delve deeper, I started learning about real estate and 

eventually purchased my first investment property. It was a small two bed, one bath and we were able to convert into a three-bedroom home. I ended up selling it for a $50,000 profit!
